Background
Earth From The Air is a photographic portrait of our planet taken by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The Earth From The Air Exhibition was created and is run by Wecommunic8. The Exhibition has toured all around the UK in London, Bristol and more recently Norwich. The Earth From The Air photographs are a stunning compilation of some of the most beautiful visual ladscapes in the world and is a visual testimony to the world we live in.

The Brief
The Earth From The Air website needed to perform a variety of different functions which are designed to spread the word about the exhibitions and the website. There are various things that were required including the facility to be able to send E-Cards, make Pledges and purchase products online.

The Results
The Earth From The Air was website as part of the Wecommunic8 website in March 2007. Together the two websites base the start of a portfolio of Wecommunic8 Exhibitions on the same webiste. The finished website is a mixture of the fantastic visual photographs taken by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, the cool tools such as sending E-Cards and the E-Commerce Webshop.

The exhibitions are enourmous events to plan for therefore the operation of the website needs to have a minimal impact on staff resources. As with all Zarr developed websites, the back end administration system automates all of what is possible and makes dispatching an order as painless as possible. Wecommunic8 staff can also take telephone and mail orders via the website, thus ensuring that all stock levels are easily managed. The system even warns when a product is running low on stock so that they can order more in advance!
