C4 logistics was founded in Coventry in 2001 by Mathieu Schillinger, Oliver Gavrois and Sebastien Barth who had previously worked for Peugeot specialising in logistics for the car maker. The directors established the business with the aim of offering service and reliability levels comparable with the best in the business but with a focus on a more personal approach emphasising customer satisfaction and regular client communications.
