Opening Virtual Doors to Accessibility

On October 1st the final part of the Disability Discrimination Act became law.
Websites are playing an increasingly important role in businesses, which is why
the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) was created to ensure that websites are as

Technical Insider - Stopping Pop Up

Microsoft has released an update to Windows XP called Service Pack 2, or SP2 for short.
SP2 stops popup adverts appearing when surfing the Internet with Internet explorer.
This will help reduce the unwanted ads and content that pop up when youre browsing the Web. The free update provides better protection against hackers, viruses, and worms and a whole plethora of security fixes. To find out more click here.

Business Resource Centre Launch

The Business Resource Centre is a cornerstone of the business community in Rugby
and the surrounding areas. New and existing organisations benefit from the
wide range of courses available and impartial jargon free advice at the
centre. The website is an important reference point for the centres clients.
Zarr developed their new website to adhere to Web
Accessibility Initiative AA compliance guidelines.

Traditional Firm Turns to Technology to
Boost Exports

A traditional furniture company in Coventry has turned to the latest
technology to boost exports.
Sitting Firm, in Allesley, is targeting markets in the USA and Japan
with Zarrs help.

Sitting Firm director, Stephanie Green said: One reason for updating the website was to give us wider exposure and weve already had quite a number of hits from the USA with 25 percent of the hits coming from across the Atlantic.
The US market is so huge, do having a device to tap into it helps lead to an increase in the export side of our business.
