New Members To Zarr's Team

Wednesday September 1, 2010 at 12:15pm

We've had a couple of new starters to the Zarr team - to increase our development and administration side of managing client projects and websites.  In no particular order, the two new starters are:

Steve Gooding - Developer

Steve Gooding. Philanthropist. Genius. Adonis. Just three of the words never to have been used in conjunction with my name. I have been at Zarr since the 26th of July, which was a Wednesday for those interested, as a web developer. I have been web developing for 4 years now but have worked in IT for nearly a decade. I'm afraid I didn't go to university and only got one 'A' level in computing, but exams were tougher back then weren't they, eh, eh?

Outside of work I enjoy watching most sport (not golf though and tennis is pretty boring as well) and playing some too. I play squash and a bit of football, squash quite well, football badly. I also play computer games, and, with varying degrees of success, try to create a few as well. So there we go, that's a little bit about me.

Laura Wilson - Office Administrator

Hi my name’s Laura, I’ve recently moved from the green grass of home in Wales to join Zarr!! I have always enjoyed working with computers and also have a passion for design...not sure if they’re any good but I enjoy it!! I received an ‘A’ at A-level ICT so I must have been doing something right! From working with Zarr, I would thoroughly enjoy progressing by experiencing project management, designing and providing input for our clients’ websites. I’m an outgoing and enthusiastic person who always thrives to do well in all aspects of life, so I think I could give it a go!!

Outside of work I enjoy watching sport, especially watching Wales play Rugby and I’m an avid gym goer. I love learning languages and have succeeded in learning French and Spanish. I’m also a fluent Welsh speaker and I am very proud of my Welsh heritage.
